The Prince and the Earring

A little friend, 3 years old to be exact, complimented me on my earrings. I thanked her and told her how I had lost one that week but my husband had thankfully found it in the shower. She exclaimed, “Your prince saved your earring?!” You see she thinks we are a prince and princess because of how we were dressed at our wedding. Her belief in the world of princes and princesses is cute but I don’t feel like a princess most of the time and it is easy to fall into a routine and take things for granted. So I am thankful to my little friend for reminding me to see the magical moments in my life and remember just how special my man and two princesses are.
